Focus
The current educational panorama requires reflection and modification of current approaches in order to provide teachers with the appropriate tools and strategies so that the teaching and learning process favours the development of student competences.
Society is dynamic in nature and continually requires the educational sphere to adapt through new formulas to adequately address the educational process. In this sense, the correct assimilation of the methodologies used in the classroom, both by teachers and students, is especially relevant.
Information and communication technologies favour this whole process and, increasingly, they are a fundamental pillar in current educational approaches. They are present in society and the teaching field cannot be oblivious to this fact. Technologies make it possible to get closer to reality and provide a motivating practice that can greatly favour student training.
These technologies will allow teachers to adapt to different educational contexts, thus favouring social and cultural inclusion. There is an increasing number of experiences with great educational potential that favour the teaching-learning process of students. The social environment will always be a conditioning factor in the whole process and must be the basis for planning so as to guarantee the success of the teaching intervention.
This monograph aims to bring together practices and experiences that have improved the educational process by intervening in social contexts that favour the involvement of the entire educational community and using the introduction of information and communication technologies as the backbone, in accordance with current educational approaches.
