Abstract

This article addresses the issue of interculturality, an important component that universities must incorporate as an essential element that allows the encounter, valuation, exchange and knowledge among the cultures that live in Ecuador. The analysis and proposals presented emphasize, first of all, the valuation of indigenous not be excluded in the research, systematization and construction of scientific knowledge to incorporate local values.
